Want to learn more about how bicycles work, how to maintain them, and how to make basic repairs to them? Join the Berkshire AMC Chapter’s First Annual Bike Repair and Information Workshop! Participants will learn proper clothing for road cycling, types of bikes, safety and much more. During the general maintenance session, participants will learn the pre-ride checklist, proper bicycle fit, and how to avoid common problems on the road. Finally, we will cover how to deal with road emergencies, including how to fix a flat tire. On-site parking is free. Bring the front wheel from your bike (it is easier to remove than the rear), tire levers, and a pump to practice fixing flats, but DO NOT BRING the whole bike (space is limited). This event supported by Speed & Sprocket Cycle Works.
